
About Algebra Boot Camp
This algebra course for grades 7-9 is designed to help students develop a strong foundation in algebraic concepts and problem-solving skills. Students will learn the fundamentals of algebra, including linear equations and inequalities, graphing linear equations, exponents and powers, polynomials, factoring, and quadratic equations. Students will also learn how to apply these concepts to real-world scenarios, such as distance, rate, and time problems, and interpreting graphs and data.
Classes 1 & 2: Introduction to Algebraic Expressions and Equations
Classes 3 & 4: Multiplication, Division, Addition, and Subtraction of Algebraic Expressions
Classes 5 & 6: Linear Equations and Inequalities
Classes 7 & 8: Systems of Equations and Inequalities
Classes 9 & 10: Exponents and Polynomials
Classes 11 & 12: Quadratic Equations
Classes 13 & 14: Rational Expressions and Equations
Classes 15 & 16: Review and Application
Class duration is one hour.
This course is offered as a 16 class semester.
